Big Island

Big Island lies in the Flin Flon greenstone belt of Manitoba, about four kilometres east of the former Trout Lake mine. The target is polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulphide mineralization, and drilling on the property has returned intercepts carrying zinc, copper, silver and gold together — a base and precious metal package rather than a gold-only prospect. Flin Flon is one of the longest-lived VMS districts in Canada, with existing regional infrastructure.
