Elephant Head

Elephant Head covers roughly twenty-five square kilometres in Connaught Township, in the Shining Tree area of the southern Abitibi about thirty kilometres east of Côté Lake. Gold occurs in shear zones cutting granitic rocks south of the Ridout Fault, a regional structure that has attracted sustained exploration since the Côté discovery. The property is early stage and no resource has been published.
