La Luz

La Luz sits in the Real de Catorce district of San Luis Potosí, about twenty-five kilometres west of Matehuala and 170 kilometres north of San Luis Potosí city. Silver occurs in low-sulphidation epithermal veins hosted in Paleozoic to mid-Tertiary sedimentary rocks. Real de Catorce was one of the great silver districts of colonial Mexico and produced for centuries before falling idle. This is the only silver-only interest in the portfolio.
