Del Toro is a past-producing silver mine in the Chalchihuites district of Zacatecas, about 150 kilometres northwest of Zacatecas city. Mineralization occurs as carbonate replacement bodies — chimneys, mantos and breccias hosted in Cretaceous limestone and shale — alongside mesothermal to epithermal veins, and is strongly oxidised near surface. The property carries an underground mine and a processing plant that combines flotation with cyanidation. Operations were suspended in 2020 and the asset has since been held with its infrastructure intact.
