Lac Pelletier

Lac Pelletier lies about four kilometres southwest of Rouyn-Noranda in the Abitibi greenstone belt, on the Wasamac Shear Zone and along the same structure that hosts Agnico Eagle’s Wasamac deposit. Gold occurs in shear-hosted orogenic style along that corridor. The property is a past producer and retains more than three kilometres of existing underground development, with bulk samples taken in 2009 and 2010. That development is the distinguishing feature: work here starts from access already driven rather than from surface.
