El Realito is a satellite deposit that is part of Agnico Eagle's operating La India mine in Sonora, Mexico, 5km east of the main zone deposit. The mine was put into production in 2014, it produced over 82Koz of gold in 2019 at an AISC of US$823/Oz and currently has a four-year remaining life of mine. El Realito’s reserve estimate is included in the La India mine plan. Mineralization remains open along strike to the north east and south west and shows significant potential at depth. Agnico has budgeted US$4 million of drilling at La India for 2021. Agnico has began road construction at El Realito and is expected to begin pr-stripping acitvities at the end of Q3 2021.
